I live in NYC and between walking to the subway and working, I'm on my feet at least 70 hours a week. Needless to say foot/shoe comfort is very important to me.

For the past year or so I've been using what I thought to be a good insole for my shoes. I can't remember the name, but a person at my running shoe store told me they were the cushiest. I was happy until recently when my feet really started hurting. So, I ordered the SuperFeet Green insoles which were way too high for my flat-ish foot. Then I ordered these insoles along with the Sof Sole Airr Lightweight insoles. While the Sof Soles were nice, they weren't really a step above my last insoles. The Spenco Gel Total Support not only is super cushy in the heel, but also cushy in the arch of the foot. When you take a step, there is cushioning all the way through the step, making it a step above the rest of the competitors. Like I said previously, I have pretty flat feet which was a problem with the SuperFeet insoles. This has moderate arch support, which is perfect for people like me who have flat feet. Overall, 5/5!
