MedSpec ASO EVO Ankle Stabilizer - Black - Medium Review

The picture is kind of confusing but this brace looks very similar to the original ASO brace. It has a few differences though.

First being that it has a plastic type insert in the cuff of the brace to help prevent high ankle sprains and stress. You cant even tell its there honestly and provides pretty decent support.

Second being that the straps originate from a common piece of fabric that starts at the bottom of the heal, sort of like what you would do if you taped your ankle instead. It then comes out through the plastic insert on the top of the ankle brace. You then do the figure 8 with both straps as the original ASO does and secure with the outer band at the top of the ankle.

One of my teammates rolled her ankle during the game and I let her borrow my brace. She said it felt amazing, just like being taped.

I should also mention that this brace is highly regarded by my osteopathic physician and my physical therapist.
