First and foremost I will say that the product that I received is NOT the product pictured.

I can not and will not talk any smack about these knee pads because they are FAR superior to MANY out there in ONE way. They have a single WIDE neoprene strap that has velcro fasteners. No stupid locking rivet or elastic banded loosening straps here. Just ONE single VERY WIDE neoprene strap. IT is wetsuit material basically.

Here is my problem with what I ordered and what I got. I have a pair of these about 2 years ago and I forgot where I got them but they had the EXACT same tread pattern on them that THESE have. Look for the other 1NT-22373 all terrain kneepads to see what these really look like. They are also going to be priced about the same as these +/- $1.xx.

The knee pads that I had though had GEL inside. These only have neoprene and no real padding inside. They are exactly like the craftsman kneepads that sell at Sears for about $24.00. Just with a different name. The kneepads that I received are BLUE and BLACK with YELLOW LOGOS. Clearly not what is pictured. I was under the impression that I would be receiving a kneepad that was almost flat with little to no large ridges on them. Will I be sending them back? No. Why bother? If I have to I will find some padding or foam or something to jam inside. The ones that I REALLY like are JUST like these but with a GEL partition on the inside and they will actually say GEL ZONE inside but I do not recall paying very much for them a few years ago. (I know prices change...)

Anyways, I am irritated that the product pictured is NOT what I received and I was hoping that the ones that I received would be different then what I already bought from Sears but they really are not.

The ONLY reason to buy these knee pads or ANY KNEE PADS like them is for the single NEOPRENE STRAP that is about 3-5 inches wide because it feels VERY comfortable and is EASY to put on and take off.

These knee pads do not mention ANYTHING about GEL LITE on them, there is nothing said so I wonder who screwed that up along the product line and cutting and pasting names and descriptions and SKUs. These should be basic knee pads because the ONLY good thing about them is the wide strap. I have gone through 6 different pairs of knee pads including some brand new ones that I paid $32 for that do not have the single wide neoprene strap and they SUCK because the cheesy straps that came with them are way too lose and can not fasten properly.

The IDEAL knee pad is going to be one JUST like these but maybe model 22382 or the DEWALT DG5204 but without the upper strap that they have.

Sigh... Gone are the days of a great simple knee pad... I will now place an order for the Dewalt DG5204 and see how they work out.
