Damascus DFK300 Frisker K Leather Gloves with Kevlar Cut Resistant Liners, Large Review

I purchased these for use on cold days at work. I get stuck outdoors a lot and need to keep dexterity in my hands for small tasks. I dont like wearing the "mechanic gloves" so I opted for these.

They are tight fitting. Its not that the size runs small, its just that they are leather and meant to be snug. I puchased the XL, as I usually wear XL gloves. They were hard to put on the 1st time, but after wearing them for about 20 minutes they fit fine and they are much easier to put on now.

I was disapointed in the Kevlar liners. My gloves came with ONE layer of a fairly open weave kevlar fabric inside. My previous experience with cut-resistant kevlar proudcts have had MUCH tighter weave material and MANY more layers. 1 layer of thin, open weave, kevlar will not provide any noticable cut protection. Thankfully, I did not purchase these gloves primarily for their cut resistant properties, so it was not a deal breaker. If you are law enforcement or similar type work where you need some protection from blades or needles during searching (beyond a leather glove), I would suggest you purchase something different.

The gloves are well made and comfortable. There was no odd stitching or seams. Fingers were all sized correctly. Leather is a good balance of thickness for protection and thin enough for dexterity.

With the exception of the kevlar liners, I would have no problem recomending these gloves. If you REALLY need cut protection, I would not recomend these. If you are looking for good leather gloves with a small amount of protection and lots of dexterity, then these are for you. Just make sure you know your glove size and buy the right size. They dont run small, but they are made to be tight.

Archmolds Multisport Insole,Red,C 6 .5 - 7 Review

I suffer from Plantar Fasciitis so I have been getting tons of foot pain. I was recommend to change the insoles that come with my sneakers and running shoes. I was also recommended to stay away from insoles sold in the supermarket and spend more on a high quality one that is more rigid.

After some research on Amazon I found superfeet as a popular option. After receiving them they seemed to have helped with my PF but the quality of the product was not the best. The insole was very thin and flimsy at the toe and less rigid with a soft cover. Also the bottom part where the heel support is was glued plastic on and came off after a few weeks. I decided to opt for something better before ponying up the cash for custom orthotics.

I ended up finding Arch Molds which are the most superior off the shelf insoles I have found. I went with the Multi-sport model as I wanted something I could use in any shoes. The Arch mold had a deeper heel cup and better arch support. The material was thicker and all one piece vs the Superfeet which was two pieces glued together. The best thing about the Arch Mold is that they are heat moldable!!

You stick them into the oven for 2 minutes slip them in your shoes and stand in them knees slightly bent for a minute so they mold to your feet and you pretty much have a custom orthotic! These insoles have been holding up very well I transfer them from my Nike Dunks, to my Adidas running shoes, and my Nike Soccer cleats and it fits in each one without any problems!

After about a week of getting used to them I no longer have anymore foot pain. I plan on buying another pair so I don't have to keep transferring them to different shoes. If you are looking for the best insoles I highly recommend these. I went with the Multi-sport but you may want to look at other options depending on what you will be using them for. Also I called the number on their website to get more information on which one would be best fit for me and the guy was super helpful so I recommend doing that! All in all great purchase.

FootMatters Arch Support Cushions (Prevent Foot Pain) - Medium Review

If you have large feet and want stiff support for some durable shoes, this is for you. Otherwise, I'd recommend against it. Here's why:

There is barely any give or flexibility. They might be made of rubber, but they may as well be made of stiff, hard plastic. I got the small size and half of my foot feels awkward because of the wide area. They add pressure to the arch when I'm running, rather than simply supporting the arch, which hurts--I have one of these in one shoe and had to take out the other because it hurt no matter how I adjust it.

The supports have a strong sticky thing on one side to help them stay in your shoe. Once you put them in, you can take them out, but you are likely to tear delicate fabrics (if there's any). Because the support is so stiff, they don't fit well into any of my shoes because none of them are quite the right shape. I have the small size support in 7.5 women's size running shoes and when I put the supports in the correct place to support my arch, the support pushes against the inside of my sneaker and creates a bulge that I'm worried will damage the seams.
