Product Description
Top quality firefighter gloves. Rated. Comfortable and flexible, serve as a high quality work glove as wellSize Large - Black Firefighter Heavy Duty Work Gloves NFPA Rated Review
Pros-They are very thick and when exposed to high heat, my hands didn't get burned, nor did I get the feeling that they were about to(as you can sometimes feel with cheaper turnout gloves).
-Perfect for the price.
-My turnout coat has nice wrist coverage. I liked that this glove just has the gauntlet without the cumbersome waistband like wrist piece as well.
Cons
-These gloves are thick, so while it is nice to feel like I wouldn't get burned, I hardly had any dexterity at all. Very difficult to feel things.
-A little more tiresome on your forearms while using tools (ie. irons, saw). Because they are thick you have to use a little more energy than usual to keep a firm grip, and to keep your hands from sliding.
-Very difficult to break in, but comfy and worth it once they are.
-I would recommend going a size up for people with large hands...not sure about other sizing. My hands are a large in most brands, but I had to send my first pair back for XL's, just an FYI.
Would I buy another pair...After wearing some other brands-probably not. But, in all fairness these aren't bad at all. Take some time to break these puppies in, and I'm sure they will work fine for someone who doesn't want to spend hundreds on a pair of gloves.
Hope This Helps
Have a Great Day :)
