Let me first start off by saying that I had been experiencing some pain in the top and side of my right foot for a while. I stood on the dr. scholl's machine at walmart and considered buying the pair of $50 inserts it suggested for me. I went and did some research and stumbled across a podiatry web site where some of the Dr's said this was nothing but a rip off. Many of them spoke highly of powerstep insoles as an OTC option with good results so I figured I'd give them a try. I ordered them from amazon.com the next day and when they arrived at my house I must say I was disappointed at first. I was expecting some soft squish gel type of insert. These were stiff and rigid and not really "kushy" at all.

I've now been wearing them for a full day and understand that the point of these type of products are not to provide a soft squishy substance for you to rest your foot on but rather to provide support.
