I bought these to save my knees when installing molding around a hardwood floor. I liked that they didn't have a hard outer shell and that it was a very simplistic design. That's all that is good about these.

I wore these for about 90 minutes, and by the time i was done the areas on my knees were flat. When I say flat, I'm talking 1/16" flat. Socks taped to my knees would have been better at this point. And not those thick athletic socks, even fancy argyle dress socks would have been better....

At 5'9" 175#, my doc says i could lose a few lbs, but i am by no means too heavy for knee pads.

Its at this point that the LIGHT DUTY comes into play. Maybe they're meant for 125lb ladies, Maybe they're only for use on other soft surfaces, like putting sheets on your bed or installing wrestling mats. Since overall lifespan is 90 mins, maybe they're only good for 6 - 15 minute sessions, or 10 - 9 min sessions, or 90 - 1 min sessions.

Either way, after 90 mins they're toast.

Advice: DON'T BUY THESE.
