I'm a professional Firefighter and I bought these gloves several months ago to use at work when I need to keep my hands protected, but don't want bulky turn-out gloves on my hands. So far, they've been pretty good. I've used them for everything from working with ropes, overhauling after a fire, pulling hose lines, raising ladders, and driving the apparatus. So far the only parts that are breaking down are the pull tab on the wrist(it split in half at the narrow point on both gloves), the little bits of extra material past the stitching are getting torn up and falling off(who cares right?) and the fish net material on the back of one glove got sliced open on something somewhere along the line(point being whatever sliced it, didn't slice me). My only complaint about these gloves is the big knuckle pads. The pads have a really cool tough look to them, and I'm sure they've saved my knuckles from getting busted many times, but they really do keep you from reaching into tight spaces, so in those cases I've had to just take the gloves off and take my chances. The gloves are relatively easy to get back on even when they're wet though. All in all, I'm happy with them.
