I bought these for paintball. I used them for the first time today 3-27-2011. These cannot take any kind of abuse. I slid into cover in one of the first games I played and the bottom left strap turnaround for tightening ripped almost completely off. I am sure it can be sewn and fixed, but the durability of these are in question. If you are looking at knee pads for any kind of tactical reason, I would look elsewhere.
