Mechanix Wear MGG-05-009 Grip Glove, Black, Medium Review

I use this glove for warehouse package handling specifically to unload packages from trailers. You know that is heavy work so I bought this semi-expensive glove in hope that it will do its worth but I got disappointed. It works really well during the first 2 months like the grip is awesome and the fit is really comfy but after 2 months it starts breaking apart.

The glove is stitched together by top layer (with design surface) and the bottom layer (black rubber grip surface) and what happens is that the stitches start coming off and it's hella annoying cuz my fingers then get exposed and it's all bad. I continued using the glove cuz I didn't want to throw away my 20 bucks from just using it for over 2 month so I sew the pieces myself. Unfortunately that didn't last.. I don't expect a 20bucks glove to break so easily.

Now don't get me wrong.. you might think I'm abusing the gloves. I am now using a 3bucks gloves (65% latex, 35% cotton) from WalGreens which does the job as good as the 20bucks one I had. You see.. value for money.. I don't care if the 3bucks gloves gonna break down on me after 3 months.. But I do care if it was 20bucks worth.

I am still giving a rating of 3 cuz it works really well before it started tearing itself apart. If you're rich enough and can afford to buy a new one everytime it breaks.. or if you think your work isn't as rough as mine.. or you don't mind sewing it for 2-3 months after using it for about 2 months (you get 5 months of use like me).. then go ahead this one is for you.
