ESP Universal super absorbent flake socks. These 3-inches Spunbond outer sleeve tube socks are filled with a next generation absorbent core, and are designed to contain small oil and water based spills. They wrap easily around leaky equipment. They also conveniently mold to uneven surfaces. Absorbency up to 52 gallons water and 52 gallons oil. No lint spunbond outer sleeve. Contain high proportions of recycled content. Contains proprietary super absorbent flake. 50 percent more absorbent then most all competitors socks. Absorbs more and can stay on the job longer reducing costs. Avoid high-heat applications. Ensure that disposal of these sorbents complies with all local, state and federal regulations. Compliance: 29 CFR 1910.120(j)(1)(vii) - suitable quantities of proper absorbents shall be kept available and used in areas where spills, leaks or ruptures may occur; 29 CFR 1910.22(a)(2) - The floor of every workroom shall be maintained in a clean and, so far as possible, a dry condition. Worked great. Soaked up an unbelievable amount of water. The ONLY reason I did not give it 5 stars is that a few of the socks broke open at the ends when trying to wring them out. I don't know if these are supposed to be reused, or if these were meant to be wrung out as aggressive as I did, but I was in need to reuse very quickly. (LARGE leak). FYI, Spreading them out in front of a fan helps dry them out, though they lose a bit of there shape after being wrung out. . I would HIGHLY recommend, and will purchase in the future if necessary.
