I use this lanyard for my wrench, when working as a freelance theater electrician. This lanyard is durable and brightly colored (easy to find in a dark theater), and the buckle clip is really handy when i need to hand off my wrench to someone else, but is just a little too short to be used over head without unclipping. I don't mind too much, because i'm a rather short person, and it's easy enough to unclip and slip the elastic around my wrist. However, if it were four inches longer, or just a bit more stretchy, i wouldn't have to unclip it while working.
