ASO EVO Ankle Stabilizer Brace (Small - Black) Review

I've had ankle problems for years, and while I typically tape my ankles for competition, I prefer braces for practices to save both money and skin. After watching video reviews, and owning the non-evo version of this brace until it was in shreds, I went for it.

I'm overall happy with it, though I wish I had purchased a different size. I'm a 5'6" female, with a size 7 shoe, and the small must be for men. I really need an Extra Small, but unfortunately cannot exchange it since I was over-eager with the box, and had to wear it that day. I make the small work, but the lacing is pulled so tightly that the velcro attached under my foot for the lower laces, while the top wraps around my lower shin almost completely.

Had I purchased a size smaller, I'm sure I would be happier, but it's a good brace. I love the sturdy band that holds in the figure 8 straps, and appreciate that it's all one piece. i would recommend, but ladies beware, get a size smaller than you think you need.
