I'll note up front that the only reason I'm giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the durability of this items is somewhat lacking. The material that goes between the thumb and the rest of the hand is not particularly sturdy and will tear much sooner than one would expect given how long the rest of the product stays intact.

With that said - this brace is an enormous help with my carpal tunnel syndrome. It can be worn during the day if needed and allow you to continue to use your hand/fingers (though the black Futuro energizing wrist support IS better suited for daily wear) on days when you need the extra support and binding that the smaller black one does not provide. It can also be comfortably worn at night when needed.

I have a total of three different wrist supports I use for my carpal tunnel. This one, the black energizing wrist support, and the Futuro night support with cushioning beads. Most days/nights, I use the black or the night support... but when my CTS is really badly flaring, I immediately grab this one for relief.

As I said, my only criticism is with the durability of the one piece of material. For me, it is not enough of an issue to cause me to stop buying and using this product - as anyone with CTS knows, there is little we won't put up with to have relief from the pain. This stabilizer definitely gives me relief from the pain.
