Purchased these shoes for a new job where walking was the main thing I did every day. After a VERY short break-in period, these shoes have become the most comfortable shoes I own. I walk 10-14 miles a day at my job and these shoes take the abuse in style. Limiting the review however, is the fact that I have been wearing them for less than two months and they are showing obvious sign of wear. I'm willing to grant that 50 miles/week or more is a real torture test, but these shoes are premium priced, and really should be able to put up with some punishment. The interior liner at the back of the heel is absolutely shredded, and there is an odd squeak in the arch support as I walk that tells me some of the sole is breaking loose. I am super happy with these shoes from a support view as well. This shoe is built to keep you going! I've had back problems lately, and have had to get rid of some shoes that were making the issues worse, but the Skechers really feel good, even at the end of the day. If you're on your feet, but maybe not walking to an extreme, I don't think you could do much better than getting these puppies for your barking dogs.
