I too am a finish carpenter, I got tired of those plugs you have to take out and find some place to store them. They eventually get lost. These stay around your neck all day,and slip on and off with no problem. I've tried other brands,but they either stick too far in your ear or they don't stay in at all. QLT By MARSHALLTOWN KB451 Kneeler Board Review

I really like this product. I bought it for using at work. It's a lot more comfortable than knee pads, which tend to move around and become ineffective. A lot of my work is outside, including during the winter months. I should have remembered that plastic becomes brittle in the cold, and this is where the issue of durability arises. Within a month of use, both handles have broken off and the base has shattered. I will probably build a new base for the pad (from wood). So, I essentially paid $25 for the foam pad, which I am okay with knowing the comfort that it will continue to provide.

In conclusion, I feel that this is a great product. It is much more comfortable than knee pads. If you are not dealing with freezing temps, you will enjoy this kneeler board for a long time.

I picked this half dome mirror to put into a retail environment to see down an aisle that due to story layout was hard to monitor. It is light weight and looks okay on the wall, but it is not good for detail viewing. It definitely would work better in a lumber yard or manufacturing environment where large items are being monitored.

For the money and the ease of installation I am using it ... but can not depend on it for retail theft.

We saw a bear and her cub at our last camping trip to the Sequoia National park, but didn't need to use this pepper gun but it was nice to know that we had some protection in case of any real danger. Of course I had a stun gun (3.9 mv) as well as one of those loud compressed-air horns too. My kids were laughing at me for buying a ping color one, but when you are in danger, who cares what color the pepper gun is. I hope I never have to use any of these safety tools I purchased but it is always nice to be ready for any danger.

My original review of this item was very negative. However, after using the item for several months, I feel I should modify what was a bad first impression. The marker does work well, if handled carefully. Changing label cartridges is tricky, and jams are likely unless you are careful. My original criticism of too much wasted plastic still stands. I think Brady could do better than this.

Auto-darkening Welding Helmet Review

This is the second one of these welding hoods I've purchased from Amazon. They are a pretty good helmet w good features for a great price. Brand name changed though, I guess there's a few identical hoods listed here w differing brands. I work as a welder so I know about the Huntsmans and Jacksons and Millers that cost upwards of $200 usually. This baby(original brand was 'Auto-helm')has never let me down. Has an effective 9-13shade auto-darkening, all solar-power lens(knob outside on temple), adjustable response time(knob outside opposite temple), grind mode(switch inside helmet), lightweight durable helmet shell, comfortable adjustable head unit, w polymer sweat band/absorber. Very comfortable to wear at length, seems durable as I have dropped mine many times, as will happen. Comes w extra outer clear lens. Can't beat it for under $60. I now have a main, and a back-up hood for still less than what one name brand helmet woulda cost..! Was satisfied enough with first to buy another.

**Only concern is that I'm not sure if it's a good 'Primary-use' hood. The response time of the auto-darken lens may not be fast enough to prevent getting flashed, as I see my facial area slightly reddened over long periods of use, I'm talking months. (Although I have had the same problem w other hoods.!)
