Quick review but a little insight.

My parents bought these in October 2011 for my sister's 3rd deployment as a Marine. I don't know the technical title, but she works on jets; in particular, the hot engine parts and refueling. Needing something thick enough to handle the hot, yet thin enough to hold, loosen, and tighten screws with her fingers, she absolutely wore these down to holes in them by today (May 2012). I'm sending her another pair with hopes they'll get there within a few weeks, but they are wonderful for heavy duty work without having the bulkiness of pilot's gloves.
