For about the past 6 years I've been doing cable and satellite installations. During that time I've managed to wear out a pair of Mechanix Impact Pros about every 3-6 months. A friend of mine who is an HVAC tech gave me a pair of these Klein Tools gloves (made by Mechanix), and so far they've lasted me 8 months. And that's wearing them 6 days a week. It seems the reinforcing they add to keep the half fingers from fraying really helps them hold up. They are starting to show quite a bit of wear on the full fingers, but I just rub a drop of super glue on the parts that get the most abuse and it makes them last longer. All in all I'd definitely recommend these gloves and can't wait to wear mine out so I can buy a new pair.
