Unlike other reviewers of both left and right hand versions of this product, I found it both very comfortable after wearing all day for most of several days and it has provided adequate support to relieve my periodic bouts with carpal tunnel problems. This one is especially nice for use when working on laptop and tablet computers, and it appears to be quite sturdy so far. I agree it is a bit pricier than other braces which use velcro straps. Of the 6 different braces I've used over the past 6 years, this one is the most comfortable around the thumb which provides adequate stiffness at the wrist.

I have to admit it also looks nicer than the other decent braces which are much bulkier and not as comfortable. The tension adjustment has not failed once, but perhaps I don't dial it as tightly as others. I do wear a cut out sock under this as I have for years with other braces that I can toss in the wash rather than try to somehow clean the brace. The sock is more difficult to put on with this brace than the velcro closure models.

I give this one 5 stars right now, but will update the review if the faults others have seen show up in this brace. I only bought a right hand brace, but the thumb on my left hand is starting to ache so if I buy a left hand brace I'll put in an appropriate review on that one.
