I just washed it twice before wearing and it didn't need ironing if that is one of your concerns. I was interviewing for a fire department job as a PR man so I thought I would get in character. Haven't heard about the job, but the shirt is worth it anyway.

For a firefighter or roughneck it would be a great gift....This XL Long size is just about the right size for someone around 180-220 pounds and around 6 foot tall. I am 6 foot and 200 pounds and it fit well tucked into jeans with an undershirt.

If I decide I don't need it later on I have a firefighter cousin who would enjoy it. It looks like it will really help repel flames in a pinch, but is casual enough to wear anytime. Not scratchy and not too heavy. I wear a red T-shirt underneath it.
