I like to do a lot of running and one of the most easily accessible places was my street, this road is quite hilly and it made for a good all around
muscle exercise. The next day when I woke up there was this slight stinging in the back of my foot, I thought that it was simply my muscles tearing
and regrowing as normal. So confidently in my bodies ability to heal itself I continued my running for a few more weeks, one day, I woke up and that pain
had grown to a full blown debilitating ache that lasted for the first hour of my day. I thought this was just a simple injury that I could just ice
and give it rest and the problem would fix itself over a few weeks.

I have had this pain for over 400 days. Roughly by day 150 I read that this was an injury called Plantar Fasciitis, this happens when a lot of pressure is applied
to the heel continuously, when running on hills you apply a significant amount of pressure to your heel, what happens is that a series of micro tears occur in the muscle tissue that is
attached to the heel and bottom of foot causing extreme pain especially after allowing the heel to rest. I read that stretching throughout the day, ice/hot therapy as well as leg
braces while sleeping to stretch the heel, provided "relief" for people suffering from this. I tried the stretching in the morning before standing up and ice/hot therapy and it did provide some relief but the pain still persisted if I tried to do any kind of cardio exercise and the pain still existed when I woke up and took my steps for the first hour of the day. My job which required me to be on my feet all day certainly did not help but there was little I could do about that.

I am 25 years old and the idea that I was going to live with foot pain for what seemed like the rest of my life was unbearable. So I finally started looking up shoe inserts
and I heard a lot of mixed reviews. About 2 months ago I was desperate and willing to try anything so I headed to my local Wall-mart to try the machine that sat in the corner of the store. I made jokes about the silliness of this machine and thought "who would pay 55$ for an insert to make their feet more comfortable." I went through the simple process and was told that based on my posture that I apply a significant amount of weight on my heels all of the time and was recommended the 330 inserts. I didn't think much at first, hell... they did not even make my feet
feel like I was walking on clouds like I thought they would. But after about a month I can happily say that the pain has been reduced by about 80% and it gets better everyday. These have
greatly reduced my waking pain and the pain when I run. I am so thankful that I feel compelled to write my first review on Amazon, because these were soooo worth the small price that they cost.

If you suffer from any heel injury then I HIGHLY recommend this product, this insert along with stretching, has healed what I thought would be a condition that would pester me for along time.
