Yes they are expensive, but these are the third pair I have purchased (l/r). Very comfortable. The only issue I have with them is that the support is plastic, not metal, so if you need it tweaked for a comfortable fit, you need to go somewhere that can melt / mold it. I'm rural and haven't found someone local yet, but they are still great without them or as out of the box.
