One of my feet is slightly longer than the other, which is apparently pretty common. So they tell you to buy shoes in the size of the larger foot. Problem is, with dress shoes, sometimes the smaller foot will slip out of the heel, causing you to walk like a hobbling idiot in order to keep your shoes on.

These solve the problem. Normally I'm not a fan of silicone insoles, but these are on the heel so they aren't likely to sweat or throw your balance off. Just a couple of bucks each and your hobbling idiot stride is a thing of the past. You're welcome.
