Atlas 370M Nitrile Tough Assembly Grip 370 Work Gloves, Medium Review
I've been buying these from my local ACE Hardware for the past couple of years, after seeing one of my contractors wearing something similar. These are great all-around gloves -- sufficiently warm on cold days, but not uncomfortable on cool days. Durable enough for most tasks such as electrical work, yard work, framing, painting, tiling, plumbing. In fact, the only tasks I purposely don't use them for are soldering copper pipe with an open flame, and heavy lifting abrasive items such as paving stones and cinder blocks. I've even used worn out Atlas gloves for hand-digging in the dirt, though beware that this quickly eats away at the fingertips.
The back is a medium weight mesh that is clingy and breathable. The palm is a medium weight plastic nitrile coating that is very durable. The cuff is heavier than the fabric at the back of the hand, and heavily elasticized. Mine typically fail at the upper knuckle, but usually only after lots of use and some abuse.
I typically bounce between large and extra large gloves, and the Atlas XLs are my preferred choice, though I have fit comfortably into their Larges previously (large fits me, but the fingers are a bit too short). There's a bit of room for error here because the gloves are so elastic.
In a nutshell, these are good to have in all temps and for most work conditions, much more comfortable but not as durable as leather, though a good bargain (especially in bulk here on Amazon).
